About the project
Seabed fluid flows (SFF) describe a wide range of fluids (gases and liquids) passing from sediments to seawater. Although the fluid release from the seabed has been linked to tectonics, the exact relationship between seabed gas release and the seismic activity is very poorly known. Also limited are the studies showing the …
Research Team
BLUEL project is based on a complementary and interdisciplinary group with solid knowledge of the complexity that characterizes seabed fluid flows phenomenon. BLUEL group started with 7 senior researchers from University of Patras and INGV (Italy). Furthermore 2 senior researchers and 2 young researchers (PhD students) joined the group.
